I've been having a lot of fun customizing the look and feel of my OSX desktop, and I decided to put together my own collection of Adobe icons. I only did ones for the apps I actually use, and I wanted to give them a fun, kitschy feel. Download Icons You can install them by finding the application in the Applications folder, and then right clicking on it, and going into Get Info. From the icon collection you've downloaded from my blog, select the icon you wish to use, and then simply drag it and release it onto the small existing icon in the top left hand corner of the Get Info window. ...

Heres a couple really useful tutorial videos for After Effects. I found both of these while working on some animation mockups for an iOS app we are working on, and found both of these really helpful. I was really choked when Adobe announced they are discontinuing their Fireworks application. Originally part of Macromedia's design suite, Fireworks is by far my favorite design program, and I have always trumpeted its virtues when in discussion with Photoshop-based UI designers. I even used it to make a poster last summer, because its really just a joy to use. I've discovered that I'm not the only one who feels this way, as some of what you might call the "old guard" of the Fireworks community have begin an underground resistance. Sign me up!     ...
